Course Description

AUDIENCE

The workshop is open to all participants from different professions, aims to increase awareness with physical, mental, and spiritual relief through music and dance, and allows the participants who wish to experience the contemporary dance phenomenon to explore  their  bodies.

WORKSHOP CONTENT

•          Movement Technique

•          Accurate use of the body’s center of gravity

•          Motion / body coordination

•          Breathing Work

•          Dynamic rhythm and harmony of body

•          Space-time-body studies

•          Energy conversion

•          Awareness / Movement fluidity

•          Posture / correct posture work

•          The strengthening of physical posture

You will discover your body and yourself, with the movement techniques, including warming up,, stretching and elongation support through  improvisation based on  contemporary dance approaches,  then you will learn a newly-developed body language that you can use  to express yourself.

During this workshop, participants gain not only body awareness of themselves, but also acquire cognition and flexibility.

The workshop is based on sensing the three-dimensions of your body: the meeting of the spirit-body-mind  which will enable you to reach  the limits of your body.

Contemporary Dance Workshop encourages  everyone to move freely, and emphasizes that everyone can dance, and learn  a new expressive  language by jumping, turning, flowing , and dancing freely, with our bodies that  accompanies us throughout our lives.
